Doors open at 7:00 pm on December 31, 2019 with fortune tellers, strolling table magicians and available cocktail service immediately followed by the dinner and theater show followed by magic and variety acts till the countdown and toast to the new year. Some dancing follows the midnight balloon drop.

A full night of non-stop interactive New Year’s Eve fun, starting with a candle-lit table served 3-course dinner prepared by Westward Look's Executive Chef and a hilarious 3-act classic murder mystery comedy stage show from the folks who've brought you the longest running mystery dinner theater shows in Arizona (where over 400,000 people have died laughing since 1989).
As is general entertainment industry practice, ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. Tickets and hotel room purchases are non-cancelable, non-changeable and non-refundable, so please plan carefully before purchasing your tickets. This is because we are required to advance purchase your dinners from the resort on a non-refundable basis and we have ended up sold out for the last 3 years running.
All dinner theater tickets must be purchased in advance of shows. No tickets are available at the door on the night of the show. You do not have show seating until you purchase your ticket(s).

The dinner and show are followed by a number of comedy magical variety acts performed in part by two Arizona Stage Magicians of the Year. Ending the festivities will be a chance to dance in the new year. Of course, there’s the traditional count down to the new year, balloon drop, champagne toast, satin top hats & tiaras, noisemakers and all the festive accouterments. All of this together with the 3-course chef prepared dinner and 4+ hours of entertainment are included in the $97.50 ticket price (plus taxes & fees). Limited preferred VIP seating and VIP passes are also optionally available for an additional charge.
Not surprisingly, the comedy murder-mystery whodunit, entitled “Murder at the Magic Show,” is set at an actual Magic show in the grand ballroom of a luxury five-star resort and promises to be loads of fun for everyone and includes a Super Sleuth award for the mystery solving winner. Post-midnight activities also include a chance to dance in the new year.
Following the dinner and play a magical time is planned with a number of short comedy magical variety acts from the likes of John Shryock, Adrian Van Vactor and Norm Marini whose combined credits have included regular performances at Caesars Palace, the famous Hollywood Magic Castle, cruise ships, performances for the White House, and countless TV appearances including the national Masters of Illusion Show.
Pre-show entertainment and in between acts will be everything from Gypsy Fortune tellers offering readings foretelling guests’ 2020 futures to strolling professional table magicians and 1930’s styled photographer.
